Minecraft fans all over the world are going crazy today as Mojang Studios and Warner Bros. have pulled back the curtain on the first trailer for Minecraft Movie.

The teaser shows some of the star-studded cast, which includes Jason Momoa and Jack Black as they are joined by Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks and Sebastian Hansen. Based on the scant footage we saw, it seems as though these two are suddenly transported into a Minecraft dimension.
One scene in particular hints at a crucial plot point, Sebastian Hansen’s character is seen with what resembles a bright blue cube which might have something to do with having the capability of passing through from different worlds.
And there is more coming,there’s an animated Minecraft series coming out on Netflix! With the movie’s release date now confirmed for April 2025, the Minecraft community will have plenty to look forward to in the coming months.
